We believe everyone deserves to feel mentally well. That’s why we focus on making support more accessible: the sooner you connect with the right psychologist, the sooner you can start to feel better.

You should be able to access care quickly, with a psychologist who truly fits you, whether you’re dealing with ongoing mental health concerns or want to invest in your wellbeing in a more preventive way.

With our referral team and a network of over 300 psychologists, we make this possible every day.

Supporting mental health in the Netherlands

Since our founding in 2009, Psyned has had one clear goal: to make mental health care more accessible. By offering fast, personal support, we provide an alternative to the long waiting times many people experience in the Dutch healthcare system.

Too often, people wait months to start treatment or are referred from one place to another without getting the help they need. Waiting comes at a cost, in time, in money (for example when work becomes more difficult), and most importantly, in your wellbeing.

The system is under pressure, and we aim to help relieve that pressure. Our psychologists support people with common mental health concerns at an early stage, so symptoms are less likely to worsen. This also helps ensure that people who need more specialised care can access it sooner.

Our ambition is to support 50,000 people each year. In doing so, we move closer to our goal of making the Netherlands one of the most mentally healthy countries in the world.
